Omega Crafter and Palworld have some similarities

Why is Omega Crafter interesting for fans of Palworld? There are some parallels to Palworld in Omega Crafter that could make the game quite interesting if you want to take a break from the Steam hit.

We at MeinMMO have therefore put together 5 reasons why you should take a look at Omega Crafter. These include NPCs who support you in the camp and in battle, a customizable camp and various boss opponents.

1. Grammis are your support in the camp and in battle

In Palworld you can capture Pals who have different abilities and support you in battle and in the camp. It’s similar in Omega Crafter, where when you create your character you get a buddy at your side who you can also give a name to.

This can do tasks like chopping wood for you and helps if you are attacked. In addition, there are Grammis who support you in the camp and can, for example, make arrows and pack them in boxes.

A special feature of the Grammis is that you can program them to support you. There are either suitable templates available for this or you can program your Grammi according to your own wishes.

One aspect that is missing compared to Palworld is catching creatures. This is not possible in Omega Crafter. Instead, you will receive more support by collecting certain fragments scattered throughout the map.

2. Omega Crafter has a multiplayer mode

Omega Crafter also offers a co-op mode, similar to Palworld, where you can play together with your friends. To do this, a player must create a world after character creation and activate multiplayer mode. As with many other survival games, you can also set a password for your world to restrict access.

3. You can design your warehouse according to your wishes

For many players, base building is a crucial aspect in survival games, including in Palworld. Building your own camp also plays a big role in Omega Crafter, although you can build not just a small camp, but even an entire city.

The game also wants to offer a variety of decorative items with the full release. During the demo, however, the selection is still very limited.

4. You will find different bosses on the map

At the beginning of Omega Crafter you can set different levels of difficulty. Similar to Palworld, you will find various bosses spread across the entire map that you will have to compete against over the course of the game.

The different levels of difficulty allow you to decide individually how challenging your boss fights should be.

For example, if you’re more interested in base building, you can simply lower the difficulty of your world or increase it if you’re looking for more of a challenge. There are difficulty levels: “Very Easy”, “Easy”, “Normal”, “Hard” and “Very Hard”.

5. There is a large map with plenty of space to explore

Another similarity to Palworld, but also to other survival games, is the open game world of Omega Crafter. This offers plenty of space and time to explore and discover.

It’s not yet clear in the demo whether there are other things you can discover besides the bosses. However, there are crates that provide you with valuable items, as well as fragments that you can use to recruit more Grammis for your camp. Of course, you can also collect a variety of resources for your base and also find ingredients for cooking.
