Yesterday, the senior investigating judge finished the substantive questioning. After several hours of hearing, Maître Faya Gabriel Kamano, one of Sékou Jamal Pendessa’s lawyers, made a statement to the press: “ Everything went well, his morale is high and strong since he is convinced of the justice and legality of the fight he is waging. »

In the meantime, Pendessa remains in prison. “ We hope that the file will be communicated to the prosecution as soon as possible for its final indictment. In the end, we hope that the investigating judge will take courage and issue an order dismissing the case. »

The union movement is organizing a general assembly this Tuesday morning to decide whether to call a general strike. “ The union struggle continues until the release of our comrade, but also the satisfaction of the other points of our demand platform, in particular the end of the jamming of private radios, the total reintegration of the channels of the Canal+ and Startime bouquets and finally the release of the ‘Internet “, declared Ibrahim Kalil Diallo, the deputy secretary general of the Union of Press Professionals of Guinea.

The union meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. standard time at the labor exchange.
