The Premier League championship race was tightened when Arsenal beat league leader Liverpool 3–1 at home. “The Gunners” moved past Manchester City into second place with their win, two points behind Liverpool.
City are three points behind Arsenal and have two games to play less than the top two.
Before the Arsenal defeat, Liverpool had only lost once in the Premier League this season, in September, and even that loss was at least partly due to a questionable VAR decision.
Now Jurgen Klopp’s the crew tripped over mistakes on the defensive end, which were especially the responsibility of the team’s captain, Central Defender Virgil van Dijk and one of the top goalkeepers in the series Alisson.
Sky Sports expert Roy Keane couldn’t believe how bad Liverpool defended in the match.

Liverpool’s second Central Defender Ibrahima Konate received a second yellow card in the 88th minute and flew to the shower. Leandro Trossard was able to advance freely from the wing to the penalty area in extra time, and placed the ball between Alisson’s legs and into the net.
