(Finance) – Prices rise less than expected orders to US industry. According to the Department of Commerce of the Bureau of the Census, in the month of December 2023 orders showed a positive change of 0.2% after the 2.6% increase recorded in the previous month and less pronounced than the +0.3% estimated by consensus.
Net of the food sector transportorders increased by 0.4% after +0.2% in the previous month, while net of the sector defence they rose by 0.4%, compared to +3.2% in September.
