The early favorite kept up the pressure.
The rock group Smash Into Pieces repeated last year’s success and became the first to advance to the final of Melodifestivalen 2024. They did so with the contribution “Heroes are calling”. After the voting, it was clear that the young “Mello” veteran Lisa Ajax won the second final ticket with the song “Awful liar”.
Tonight’s contribution was her fifth in the context and the fourth time she has made it to the final. Twice via a detour in the then “second chance”.
They get to settle in the final qualifier
Adam Woods, who was tipped in advance to advance directly to the final, together with Elisa Lindström have to make up the final qualification in the new phase instead. In the fifth heat, it will be decided which two of those who finished third and fourth in their heats will get a second chance.
Samir & Viktor and the debutant Melina Borglowe ended up fifth and sixth – and must leave the competition immediately.
