A woman in her 60s was badly beaten about a week ago in Uddevalla.
After several days of treatment in hospital, she has died.
– They must have been in a couple relationship, says August Brandt, press spokesperson at the police.
A woman in her 60s died on Saturday night after being beaten.
It was on January 25 that the woman came into hospital with head injuries. The healthcare staff suspected that a crime had been committed and filed a police report. A man in his 70s was arrested for aggravated assault. The classification may change.
– They must have been in a couple relationship. The man is under arrest now, but detention will take place during the day or tomorrow, says August Brandt, police spokesperson.
Relatives have been notified.
