Halland has received its first wolf district in modern times. Snow tracking has shown that two wolves move together and leave signs to other wolves that the area is occupied, the county administration writes in a press release.
It is about a male from a territory in Uppsala/Gävleborg County and a female from a territory in Västra Götaland County.
Exactly where the boundaries of the new area are has not yet been established, but the core area lies between the communities of Simlångsdalen and Mästocka.
