In the hockey NHL, the last three games were played before the all-star break. The Finnish goalkeeper was seen in action in all three matches.

In the ice hockey NHL, the Ottawa Senators beat the visiting Detroit Red Wings in a fight that went to overtime with goals 3–2.

The victory for the Senators was guaranteed by 23/25 saves Joonas Korpisalo. Korpisalo’s save percentage in the game was 92. The win was the second in a row for the Senators and Korpisalo. The Finnish keeper has appeared in 33 matches this season with a save percentage of 88.9.

The Senators completely dominated overtime and did not give the Red Wings puck control once. The match was over Shane Pinto with a goal for Ottawa, after two minutes of extra time had been played.

Third consecutive loss for the Predators

Juuso Saros the saves weren’t enough for the Nashville Predators, as the Los Angeles King claimed a 4-2 away win in the home cave of the Predators. The win snapped the Kings’ four-game losing streak.

Juuse Saros stopped the Predators with a goal 20/23 times. Saros has appeared in 40 matches this season with a save percentage of 90.3.

The loss was the third in a row for the Predators, who are fiercely fighting for a playoff spot.

Also in the third match of the night, the Finnish keeper was seen in real action, when Kaapo Kähkönen skated to a goal for the San Jose Sharks in an away game against the Anaheim Ducks. The match is still in progress. Sharks led the game after two periods 2–1.
