21-year-olds Felt disappeared after a night out on October 15, 2022, and was found dead in a wooded area outside Vetlanda on November 2.
Two friends, Johanna Jansson, 20, and Maja Hellman, then 18, was sentenced in the district court to life imprisonment for the murder. Hellman was later fully acquitted of the murder, while Jansson had his sentence reduced to 16 years in prison.

So Tove was murdered in Vetlanda
On the evening of October 15, Tove got into a fight with Johanna Jansson and Maja Hellman at the Nöjet nightclub in Vetlanda. After the fight, the three went home to the 20-year-old’s apartment to talk things out.
According to several media, Johanna Jansson and Tove, who were previously good friends, had a conflict that had been going on for a long time.
In the bathroom, Tove was then strangled to death by Johanna Jansson. After the murder, Maja Hellman helped her hide the body in a wooded area outside Vetlanda. The 20-year-old then returned to the scene and tried to set the dead 21-year-old on fire.

On January 23, 2024, it was decided that Johanna Jansson will serve her sentence at the institution in Ystad. The prison has 76 places in security class two and only women are placed there.
In the Prison Service’s placement decision, which News24 taken note of, Johanna Jansson can be released on June 13, 2033 at the earliest.
