We are proud of the multi-award-winning experiences we produce and know that every member of our team is working at full capacity,” the studio said in a statement on social media.
“Our studio was affected by the global economic situation, industry challenges and the comprehensive restructuring announced by Embracer. It was decided to lay off 97 people from the support, management and development teams,” the statement said.
The studio stated that they were making every effort to help affected staff find employment and that the well-being of the team was their priority. He also emphasized their continued commitment to creating games that players can enjoy.
Embracer announced that the restructuring process will continue until the end of March and will be carried out at the local level, focusing primarily on affected employees. The company said it will continue to update the market regularly and its next quarterly report is scheduled to be published on February 15.
