Israel plans to move some of its Gaza forces to

On Tuesday, the UN Secretary General will discuss the future of the Palestinian aid organization with representatives of the donor countries in New York.

The Israeli army plans to move some of its Gazan forces out of the area to northern Israel, where there have been almost daily firefights against Iran-backed Hezbollah guerrillas. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said late Monday that troops would be moved “to prepare for future events.”

Israeli soldiers have been engaged in heavy fighting in and around the town of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza in recent days. According to the army, the forces had found the base of Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the political wing of Hamas, military targets and “a significant base used for the production of rockets”.

Daniel Hagari, a representative of the Israeli army, said on Monday that the Israeli forces had “eliminated more than 2,000 terrorists underground and above”.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, controlled by the extremist organization Hamas, 128 people were killed in Israeli attacks during the night before Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health, more than 26,600 people, mostly women and children, have died in Israeli attacks on Gaza since the beginning of the war.

Israel attacked Gaza less than four months ago after Hamas and other Palestinian extremist organizations attacked Israel, killing more than 1,100 people, mostly civilians. Extremist organizations also took 250 hostages, of which more than 130 are still in Gaza. The rest have either been released or are dead.

“If the aid runs out, we will starve to death”

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres is scheduled to meet representatives of several countries in New York on Tuesday. The Secretary-General discusses the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) crisis.

At least 12 countries, including Finland, have suspended their aid to the organization after Israel claimed that at least 12 employees of the organization were involved in the attack on Israel. Guterres has appealed to donor countries to continue their support. He has promised that the allegations will be investigated and possible culprits will be punished.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz canceled his meeting with UNRWA Director Philippe Lazzarin after stating on social media that “supporters of terrorism are not welcome here”.

Palestinian refugees driven from their homes in the city of Rafah in the southern part of Gaza told the news agency AFP that the organization’s help is vital,

– We live with the help of UNRWA. If it ends, we will starve to death, summed up Sabah Musabih, 50.
