It was that quote in an interview with Gefle Dagblad, after the loss against Sirius with 13-9, that led GGIK to call an extra board meeting on Saturday.
“Misquoted”
Viktor Matsenius believes that he was misquoted and that the statement was taken out of context.
– I use the words to describe my feeling of how pissed off I was. It’s taken out of context, like I’d like to beat up the referee. Which is completely incorrect, says Matsenius to SVT.
During Saturday evening, GGIK wrote on their website that they are canceling the collaboration with Matsenius.

GGIK declines an interview and does not want to comment on Viktor Matsenius’ statements.
The rest of the season the team is led by assistant coaches Christian Byman and Magnus Johansson.
