The sequel The Accountant 2 was announced two and a half years ago. But a lot can happen between plans for a sequel and its actual implementation. But now Deadline has fantastic news: Filming for the sequel will begin this year with Ben Affleck as Christian Wolff.

The $44 million first film, The Accountant, played Mojo, according to Box Office 155 million again and with this more than tripling of his expenses, he recommended a sequel. Even though the action thriller divided critics, many celebrated it as a veritable replacement for Batman for its rough action and Ben Affleck’s great performance.

When is The Accountant 2 coming to cinemas?
The Accountant sequel doesn’t have a concrete theatrical release yet. Ben Affleck will first finish filming his project Animals with Matt Damon in 2024, then he wants to devote himself entirely to his autistic accountant.
