As the situation becomes more and more alarming, the army general staff is shifting into higher gear. “ The Lieutenant General, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, decides to take measures formally prohibiting any soldier from circulating with weapons and other war materials in the above-mentioned places; which necessary measures aim to restore order to strengthen the peace of the population », announced Commander Franck Gonide, head of the press office at the general staff.
The army general staff has also set up two telephone numbers to allow the population to denounce soldiers who engage in this type of practice.
