Statistics Norway (SCB) has produced a new report with a forecast of which jobs it is believed will be clamoring for people in 2040.
Something that, to say the least, seems important, according to the forecast, is having a completed high school education in order to get a job in 2040.
– The most important thing is that you finish high school, says Oskar Nilssonsection manager at Statistics Sweden to TV4 News.

There are three professions that should have an extra bright future. These professions are: nurse, engineer and teacher.
According to Statistics Norway’s forecast, the reason why jobs as nurses and in care and social care will have such a bright future is due to the fact that the population will have increased drastically.

Therefore, more people will be needed in care and social care in 2040
By 2040, the proportion of people over 80 will have increased by 55 percent. Therefore, more people are needed who work specifically in care and social care.
With the increasing population, there will also be a great demand for teachers. Even if the groups of children are not as large as before, there will still be a need for trained teachers.
– The education system will not cover this shortfall, which is only getting bigger and bigger, says Nilsson TV4 News.
