A 55-year-old woman, who works in the police force, was out for a walk with her partner. Together, they rested the couple’s little Jack Russell near the police academy in Solna, which Siren also reported on.
During the walk, the couple sees a police dog lying on a lawn. This dog, unlike the couple’s dog, is unattached.

The loose dog runs up to the couple and attacks their dog, the woman writes in her claim for compensation, which News24 took part in.

When the dog handler reaches the couple, they get the dog off the woman’s arm. The woman has terrible pain in her arm after the bite and torn clothes. She went to the hospital urgently and received pain relief and antibiotics intravenously.

Receives SEK 9,000 in damages
Now the authority has decided that the female police employee will receive SEK 9,000 in damages from the authority after being bitten.
