When Alice Teodorescu Måwe was presented as the KD’s candidate to top the list for the European Parliament elections, it appeared that several people had been asked during the last year.
As SVT was able to tell at the time, it must have involved, among other things, current ministers.
Ebba Busch said at a press conference on Wednesday that they tried different names, but that the direct question at this stage only went to one person:
– It is true that we have tried different names in the executive committee, but the question has clearly gone to Alice Teodorescu Måwe.
SVT can now tell you that the question at an earlier stage also went to a former party leader, namely Ebba Busch’s representative on the party leader post, Göran Hägglund.
According to sources in the Christian Democrats, he must have been asked the question in connection with the trial election that was held this summer. He himself does not want to comment on the data.
“I have nothing to say in the matter,” writes Göran Hägglund in a text message.
