In Sollentuna municipality in Stockholm county, this year they have decided to plow parts of the municipality’s promenade in a new, slightly more environmentally friendly way.
In a Facebook post, the municipality writes that the tractors that drive in the municipality are too wide to easily navigate footpaths and walking paths.
“Tractors are too wide to move smoothly on the footpaths, and therefore we have developed a horse-drawn snow plow and gravel paver to make the winter world accessible,” the post reads, among other things.
