The developers of Palworld warn of a bug from which there is “no return” – avoid an item

A bug in Palworld can permanently reduce your catching skill when you use a certain item. Even the developers warn against using it.

What kind of bug is this? The developers of Palworld have warned against using an item on the game’s official Discord server, as a game error can permanently affect your character’s abilities.

Accordingly, the item “Memory Reset Drug” is intended to reduce your catching skills due to a bug. The item is usually used to reset your distributed skill points so that you can redistribute them if you make a mistake when distributing them. It has a similar effect to the potion of oblivion in ARK: Survival Evolved.

This means that your catching skill would be permanently impaired if you consumed the item because, according to the developers, it would be “impossible to recover from it” (via Discord).

What is the catching skill? Higher catching skills will help you be more successful at catching Pals. The chance of catching calculated during a catch attempt may then be higher than if you had not previously improved your catching skill.

If you want to increase your catching skills, you have to go to “Improve your own skills” at a “Statue of Power” and then sacrifice so-called Lifmunk statuettes there. These are small, green glowing statues of the pal “Lifmunk”.

You can find and collect Lifmunk statuettes all over the map. They often even stand on slopes or on small hills and mountains. Because of their green glow, you can find them particularly well at night.

Palworld is currently a huge success on Steam. Many players on Steam accumulated numerous hours of “Pokémon with a gun” last weekend – but very few expected such success.

On Sunday, Palworld even reached one million active players on Steam at the same time. This makes the survival game only the sixth game ever to break this mark: Palworld cracks 1 million players on Steam – the survival game has already broken these 3 records
