Making a statement before the meeting of the two leaders, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had harshly warned Beijing about possible military aid to Russia. Expressing that he was worried about Beijing providing weapons aid to Russia, Blinken threatened that if China took such a step, it would pay the price.
