A six-legged spaniel found abandoned in a car park has had its extra limbs removed.
The dog, named Ariel after the character in “The Little Mermaid” because the two extra legs looked like a fin, underwent surgery on Thursday.
On Saturday, she was running around the lawn at the animal hospital in Pembroke, Wales, discharged and in the process of getting used to life on four legs.
– She is doing excellently, says hospital director Vicki Black.
