If you want to unlock special buildings like the incubator, you need old technology. MeinMMO explains how you get the points.

Why do you need ancient technology? Ancient Technology Points in Palworld are used to unlock special crafting recipes in the Technology Tree. These can be found on the right and are marked purple.

These skills allow you to unlock special buildings or items such as the grappling gun or the incubator. To unlock you need the “Ancient Technology” points.

Find Ancient Technology – These 3 options exist

To obtain Ancient Technology, you’ll need to complete some of the most difficult challenges in Palworld. In total there are three options you can do:

  • Defeat tower bosses: Tower bosses are the most difficult enemies in the game: They have a lot of life points and you have a tight time limit to defeat them. However, if you win, you will receive several “Ancient Technology” points.
  • Defeat Pal bosses: Pal Bosses are particularly powerful versions of Pals marked on the map. You can also recognize them by a large life bar and red writing. Here you can also get rare “Ancient Technology.”
  • Defeat Dungeon Bosses: Palworld’s dungeons appear at certain points on the map in the form of a cave, where they stay for 200 minutes and then disappear. If you defeat the boss of the dungeon, you also get technology points.

    • Tip: We would recommend that you not underestimate the tower bosses in particular. The first boss in particular, the couple Zoe and Grizzbolt, is really tough and they will make short work of you if you are not well equipped or have the appropriate pals with you.

    From the starting zone you have two Pal bosses and the first tower boss in close proximity. All three give you Ancient Technology.

    You can then spend the points in the technology tree. But you also have to have reached the appropriate level in order to be able to spend the points.

    How else can you increase FPS? If you have very poor performance, we recommend that you reduce the resolution. Then your computer has to calculate less.
