The Swedes shot well – but were all the worse in skating.
Elvira Öberg became the best Swede in tenth place when the short distance race in Antholz, Italy was decided.
The Swiss Lena Häcki-Gross took the first biathlon victory of her career in the World Cup.
Elvira Öbergwho last weekend had big problems with shooting when she missed five of 20 shots in the hunt start, took revenge and had only two misses in total in the short distance race over 12.5 kilometers on Friday.
But the problem was that the 24-year-old was quite tough on the track and finished far from the podium places, in tenth place.
– I am happy with the race and that I am pushing hard in the last two is great. I’m very happy with how I set up the race, even though I was cautious. I would still give myself a pass, says Öberg in SVT.

Lena Häcki-Gross from Switzerland roared as she secured the first World Cup victory of her career.
– It was an incredible race. It was perfect. I gave everything today, even though it was difficult given the high altitude, says the 28-year-old.
For Hanna Öberg ended the day with two misses, but she too had a hard time in the track. The 28-year-old finished in 19th place.
– What I take with me from the day is the prone shooting where I do many good things. But the most important thing today is to have a good race and I did what I could of the day. There is a lot to work on, says Hanna Öberg in SVT.
