Bank of Italy Consob and the Swiss authorities sign a

(Finance) – Finecobank dominates the ranking of volumes of “shares” traded on behalf of third parties by intermediaries belonging to AMF Italia (formerly Assosim) with a market share of 26.85%, while Intesa Sanpaolo runs at a certain distance with 14.55% and Banca Akros with 10.90%. For the volumes of “bonds” traded always on behalf of third parties the situation rebounded with Intesa Sanpaolo at 25.77%, followed by Banca Akros at 24.91% and, further away, Finecobank at 9.37%.

This is what emerges from AMF Italia annual report 2023, new name of Assosim, the association of Financial Market Intermediaries, which this year has completed an important rebranding operation, to take into account the multiplicity and heterogeneity of the associated subjects. The Report, complete and detailed, considers the transactions carried out by its Associates on the markets managed by Borsa Italiana, Vorvel and Equiduct and by associated intermediaries who operate as Systematic Internalisers.

Volumes traded on behalf of third parties

From the “Stocks” ranking elaborated by aggregating the volumes traded on Euronext Milan Domestic, Euronext Growth Milan and EQUIDUCT, as well as on any systematic internalisers managed, emerges at the top FINECOBANK, with a market share of 26.85%; second INTESA SANPAOLOwith a share of 14.55%; AKROS BANK third, with a share of 10.90%. In the ranking by number of operations, FINECOBANK highlights a market share of 22.81%; INTESA SANPAOLO of 16.76%; BANCA AKROS of 9.62%.

From the “Bonds” ranking, elaborated by aggregating the volumes traded on DomesticMOT, EuroMOT, Euronext Access Milan, EuroTLX and VORVEL, the first position of INTESA SANPAOLOwith a market share of 25.77%; AKROS BANK second, with a market share of 24.91%; third FINECOBANK, with a market share of 9.37%. In the ranking by number of transactions (see page 6), INTESA SANPAOLO highlights a market share of 29.53%; BANCA AKROS of 19.35%; FINECOBANK of 12.16%

From the rankings referring to total volumes intermediated (own account, third party account and matched principal) in the various markets managed by Borsa Italia the top positions of: FINECOBANK on Euronext Milan Domestic, with 6.49% of the market, on Mini Futures on Index, with 16.15% of the market, and on Micro Futures on Index, with 25.96% of the market; INTESA SANPAOLO on Euronext Growth Milan, with 21.68% of the market, on DomesticMOT, with 20.27% of the market, on Euronext Access Milan, with 42.63% of the market, on SeDeX, with 34.49% of the market market, and on Index Options, with 6.26% of the market; AKROS BANK on EuroMOT, with 27.83% of the market; BANCA SELLA HOLDING on ETFplus, with 6.02% of the market; MORGAN STANLEY on Index Futures, with 4.81% of the market; EQUITA SIM on Stock Options, with 11.37% of the market; INTERMONTE SIM on Stock Futures, with 17.00% of the market.

From the ranking referring to total volumes intermediated (own account and third party account) on VORVELthe first position of is highlighted BANCA SELLA HOLDINGwith 36.81% of the market, followed by BANCA AKROS, with a market share of 15.24%, and by INTESA SANPAOLO, with a market share of 11.29%. From the ranking referring to the total volumes intermediated (own account and third party account) on VORVEL Certificates, the first position of FINECOBANK stands out, with 54.60% of the market, followed by BANCA AKROS, with a market share of 45.21% , and by EQUITA SIM, with a market share of 0.14%.

Countervalue: Euronext Milan grows, Vorvel soars

The total equivalent value (own account, third party account and matched principal) of trading shares and rights on the market Euronext Milan Domestic of the Italian Stock Exchange is grew by 2.14% compared to the year 2022, while the number of operations decreased by 10.69%. On the market Euronext Growth Milan, the total countervalues ​​(own account, third party account and matched principal) traded of shares and rights decreased by 22.69% compared to the year 2022, while the number of operations decreased by 23.64%. On the market DomesticMOTthe total values ​​(own account, third party account and matched principal) traded grew by 55.40% compared to the year 2022, while the number of operations grew by 63.10%.

On the market EuroMOTthe total values ​​(own account, third party account and matched principal) traded grew by 90.51% compared to the year 2022, while the number of operations grew by 66.12%.

On the market Euronext Access Milan, the total values ​​(own account, third party account and matched principal) traded decreased by 18.39% compared to the year 2022, while the number of operations grew by 6.16%. On the EuroTLX market, the values ​​traded on behalf of third parties grew by 3.01% compared to the year 2022, while the number of transactions on behalf of third parties grew by 8.03%.

On the market VORVELthe total values ​​(own account and third party account) exchanged are grew by 205% compared to the year 2022, while the number of operations grew by 189%. On the market VORVEL Certificatesthe total values ​​(own account and third party account) grew by 349% compared to the year 2022, while the number of transactions grew by 105%.

On the market SeDeXthe total values ​​(own account, third party account and matched principal) traded grew by 6.67% compared to the year 2022, while the number of operations decreased by 7.27% On the market ETFplusthe total values ​​(own account, third party account and matched principal) traded decreased by 29.09% compared to the year 2022, while the number of operations decreased by
20.55%.

On the market Equiductthe values ​​traded on third party accounts on Italian shares grew by 6.15% compared to the year 2022, while the number of operations decreased by 21.71%.
