Hugo Larsson was recruited from Malmö FF to Eintracht Frankfurt last spring. The success was immediate and in June he was selected for the national team. But despite the success in Germany, playing time in the blue and yellow jersey was not forthcoming.
– It was special. I especially felt during the fall that I deserved to play more. It didn’t really turn out that way. It wasn’t the most enjoyable national team year I entered. My image of what the national team is like will hopefully improve in the future.
“Dare to run over people”
What type of national team captain do you want to see in the future?
– A coach with strong ideas who dares to run over people. It is needed when there has been laxity and poor results. Someone who sticks his chin out and walks in with poise. It is needed in the national team.
