Ebba Andersson makes a comeback at the World Cup again

Ebba Andersson chose to break the Tour de Ski. When the World Cup now continues with a competition weekend in Oberhof, the Swedish star is back. This is announced by the Swedish Skiing Association.
“We are going with a really strong team and we feel energized,” says national team manager Anders Byström.

Ebba Andersson was tested positive for covid-19 before the tour but was finally able to start. Once in the tracks, it was difficult for the 26-year-old who was far behind the lead.

For Andersson, it was clear that the covid disease had left its mark and with fear of what the consequences of continuing would be, she made the decision to break the tour. Now it’s time for a World Cup weekend – and Ebba Andersson is in the Swedish squad.
