The Israeli offensive has left 23,843 people dead and 60,317 wounded in Gaza, most of them civilians, according to the latest Hamas figures.
“The large-scale death, destruction” and “pain of the last hundred days” since the start of the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas are “a stain on our common humanity”, said the head of the UN’s Palestinian refugee aid agency (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Saturday that no one would stop his country in its war in the Gaza Strip in retaliation for the bloody attack by Hamas on October 7. This war entered its 99th day on Saturday.
In case the news media did not tell you. Today, nearly half a million people marched in DC to call for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and to protest against Israel’s genocide of Palestinians and the US government funding and protecting war criminals. https://t.co/7UcvDwrHRr
