Both the German and Danish governments have stated that they are considering sending support to the Red Sea operations.
Now Foreign Minister Tobias Billström announces that it may also be relevant for Sweden.
– Sweden fully supports the efforts made to maintain safety and free shipping in the region. Sweden is also investigating opportunities to support efforts in the Red Sea, he writes in a written response to Göteborgs-Posten.
It is unclear what kind of support it is, but Billström states that it would contribute to maintaining safety and shipping in the area.
