The EU has come up with a proposal that could mean that the Swedish mortgage system will disappear. Namely, they want to reduce the amount of disposable packaging and their impact on the environment and the climate.
The new proposal is about creating a kind of “reuse system” that would look the same wherever you went within the EU.

Now there are many who are upset about the EU’s proposal. Many believe that it would be worse for the environment if Sweden switched to this system, instead of being allowed to keep the system that exists today.
