One person is dead and another is in hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday.

Norfolk County OPP say first responders were sent to a location on County Line Townsend at 9:34 am to investigate a report of a collision. One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene while another individual was taken to hospital by paramedics were severe injuries.

County Line between Concession 6 Townsend and Concession 16 Walpole is expected to remain closed while the OPP investigates the collision. The location of the collision is between Waterford and Hagersville.
Norfolk OPP say updates will be provided when additional information becomes available.
Provincial police from Norfolk and Haldimand, paramedics and firefighters from both counties responded to the collision.
The West Region OPP traffic incident management and enforcement team is helping with the investigation.

Those who wish to remain anonymous are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or leave an anonymous online tip at www.helpsolvecrime.com to become eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
