Joseph Badiabio, president of the education commission of the Congolese National Assembly, suit, tie, white goatee, receives us in the building which also houses the offices of the lower house of parliament. He returns to the conditions of his election at the head of the UDH-Yuki.

As you can imagine, when you go to an election like this, you have to take all the necessary precautions. This is what has been done. I can reassure you that everything happened normally, in the healthiest conditions, because there was a vote which took place democratically and legally. “.

Joseph Badiabio specifies that he was not the only candidate in the running, but his opponents did not present themselves, seeing his victory coming.

He calls on his detractors to unity. “ What I ask, on the other hand, is that they join us, because what I advocate in all my speeches is the cohesion of the party so that we move forward. Let us sit down and work in synergy for the good of our party “.

An old hand in politics, Joseph Badiabio reaffirms that he has always been close to the late Guy-Brice Perfect Kolélas, founder of the UDH-Yuki who died in 2021, the day after the last presidential election.
