Nice surprise for Free Mobile subscribers: the operator is now integrating its Oqee TV service into its Free 5G telephone plan. A nice gift that allows them to access streaming TV at no extra cost!
To celebrate the twelfth anniversary of the launch of its mobile telephony offer, Free Mobile has just announced an enrichment of its 5G package, with the addition of a new service at no additional cost for its subscribers. This announcement is part of the operator’s historic commercial strategy, which has consisted since the beginning of offering a limited number of packages, in order to maintain a simple catalog of offers, to which it regularly adds functions and services, without increase prices.
In the period of high inflation currently experiencing the world and especially France, the operator has also committed not to increase the prices of its mobile plans until 2027. The promise seems to have been kept for the moment, and did not a priori prevent the company from pampering its customers, by offering them a new service within its Free Free 5G package, the one at €19.99 per month, with the addition of the Oqee TV application in the formula, without increasing the offer price.
Oqee TV is an Internet television service, providing access to more than 200 channels, including those of TNT, to viewing functions such as live control, replay content and a video on demand catalog , including films and shows. The service was already included in the operator’s Internet access packages and available to Freebox subscribers. From now on, it becomes accessible to all customers with a Free Mobile 5G plan, whether they have their Internet access with Free or with another operator.
Subscribers with the 5G plan will therefore be able to use the Oqee TV application on their phone, their tablet, their connected television or their computer, by connecting to the service with their Free Mobile identifiers. To take advantage of it, simply download the Oqee TV by Free application on the Play Store for Android devices, on the App Store for iOS devices, or go to the web page of the computer service.
Be careful, however, the Oqee TV app does not offer exactly the same functions in the mobile plan and in the Freebox subscription. Although it does provide access to live TV, replay and the Oqee Ciné service, it does not allow you to record programs or watch videos on demand.
A very nice gift for all the operator’s customers, in this period of general increase in the price of all digital services, such as those of Netflix or Spotify, which is part of the continuity of the continuous enrichment of the Free’s mobile offering since its launch, with the successive addition of 4G then 5G, Wi-Fi calls and the increase in the volume of data in its packages, all with prices maintained at the same level since the origin.
