The US Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was 100 kilometers off the coast of Sarangani city in the south of the country.
According to preliminary findings, there was no loss of life or property in the 6.7 magnitude earthquake, which occurred at a depth of approximately 70.3 kilometers.
The Philippines, one of the countries with the most seismic movements in the world, is located in the Pacific Seismic Zone, also known as the “Ring of Fire”. (AA)
