Kerttu Niskanen couldn’t open a sparkling drink at the overall Tour de Ski award ceremony.

Kerttu Niskanen I finished the Tour de Ski handsomely instead of third overall, when I finished fourth fastest on the final climb of Alpe Cermis.
So Niskanen would have been able to spray the sparkling drink at the awards ceremony in the United States Jessie Diggins and Norway by Heidi Weng with.
However, Niskanen ran into a nasty problem. The Finn couldn’t open the bottle at the same time as the American Jessie Diggins waited for a Finn for a long time.
In the end, the American managed to spray the fizzy drink on Niskanen.
Suomalaistähti’s bottle was never opened.
– I said right away that you still have to practice that. The bottle doesn’t open that quickly. On the other hand, it’s good that you didn’t get it open. Heikki gets it, Niskanen stated to Urheilu and referred to the one who started as a personal ski guardian this season Heikki Köykkän.
Diggins won the Tour de Ski for the second time in his career. He described the award ceremony as incredible.

Jonna Sundling started up the hill in third place and six seconds ahead of Kerttu Niskanen. Frida Karlsson on the other hand, five seconds.
Karlsson was really thoughtful in front of the media. He won the Tour de Ski last year, but collapsed on the final climb. Even now, Karlsson did not succeed in the final climb, but fell behind Niskanen to fourth in the final results.
– It was heavy. I don’t feel good in my legs right now. It would have been nice to get revenge on this hill, Karlsson described.
Sundling was fifth: Norway Heidi Weng also passed the Swedish duo and came second in the final results of the Tour.
Sundling, better known as a sprinter, was not in the mood for the collapse.
– This was a good competition. It was my third time on the Tour. I was already able to control the final ascent a little. I have a lot of respect for that. This was a really good competition, Sundling summed up.
