A 38-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with mischief and uttering threats following a Jan. 4 incident at a Turkey Point Road address.

Norfolk OPP officers were dispatched to the residence at about 1:40 pm Upon arrival, officers determined that three individuals had become embroiled in a heated verbal dispute.

Police say threats were uttered and property was damaged during the incident.
The accused has been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and mischief, damage to property. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Feb. 13.
Vehicle theft
Norfolk OPP is appealing to the public for help in locating a pickup truck that was taken from a Kennedy Road address in Simcoe.
The beige and black 2003 Chevrolet Silverado with a white ‘Browning’ logo on its rear window was reported stolen just before 8 am Jan. 5.
Norfolk OPP say the vehicle was taken sometime overnight on Jan. 4 to Jan. 5. The pickup had been parked on the roadway.
