There are freezing temperatures and snowy weather throughout Sweden. During Thursday, January 4, the coldest day in a decade was measured in several places in Norrland. The night before Wednesday the 3rd was recorded as the coldest January night in 25 years. This winter seems to be a record winter when it comes to cold. How should you dress then?

Tim Malmborg is an adventurer and sells outdoor clothing in everyday life. Accustomed to dressing for the weather as he is, he tells P4 Jamtland how to best protect yourself from the cold. He says it is best to dress according to the activity you will be doing outdoors.

“Are you a bit lazy…”
He points out that it is important to adjust the clothes afterwards, so that you don’t get sweaty. Then it can instead be even colder.
– Many people get a little uncomfortable and don’t want to freeze in the beginning, so you dress too much and then you’re a little lazy and don’t adjust that clothing.
– Then you get sweaty and have to change and maybe sweat those clothes too, Malmborg tells P4 Jämtland.
