Ukraine again attacked the Russian city of Belgorod late Thursday night, local authorities said.
Just hours earlier, schools in the region had been told to extend their winter holidays, citing the risk of further attacks.
At least two people were injured in the attacks, according to Belgorod Governor Vyatjeslav Gladkov.
On December 29, Russia carried out the most extensive attacks on civilians since it began its war of invasion in Ukraine.
They were followed by a Ukrainian counterattack around Belgorod, near the border with Ukraine, and 25 people were killed, according to Russian reports.
In recent days, several Ukrainian attacks have been carried out against Russia, according to the country’s authorities.
