Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır, who visited Chery’s global headquarters in Anhui to exchange information and views, was accompanied by the Republic of Turkey’s Ambassador to China İsmail Hakkı Musa, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Zekeriya Çoştu and President of the Investment Office of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu. . The meeting started with a warm welcome by Chery Group President Yin Tongyue, Chery International President Zhang Guibing and Chery International Vice President and Chery Turkey General Manager Fenghuo Si. The two sides shared a common determination to promote environmentally friendly and low-carbon transportation, and the development of new energy vehicles in Turkey. The delegation also had the opportunity to personally test Chery’s new electric vehicle model, OMODA E5, at the Longshan Test Center. According to reports, Turkey plans to reach the lowest carbon emission level in 2038 at the latest and become carbon neutral by 2053.
