The tax is reduced
The tax on diesel will also be reduced by SEK 1.64 in 2024. But when you add the indexation of the tax, which is +11.31 percent based on the consumer price index plus two percent on top of that, the tax reduction is virtually gone. Instead, it means an increase of 15 öre per litre, reports TT.
“All in all, this would mean that the price of diesel is reduced at the pump by SEK 3.85 per litre,” he says Anders Norénhead of sustainability at the industry organization Drivkraft Sweden, to TT.
