An explosion occurred during the night of Sunday at an apartment building in Hisings Backa in Gothenburg.
No one was injured and a major operation is underway in the area, which is cordoned off.
– We received the alarm at 00.25 that some kind of explosion occurred next to a property, but no one is injured that we know of, says Martin Hallberg, officer on duty at police region West.
At 3:30 a.m., no one had been arrested as a suspect for being behind the explosion. The police have started a preliminary investigation regarding public dangerous devastation and serious crime.
