“Dare to freedom”: at the Pantheon, a tribute to the forgotten heroes of the fight against slavery

Chaillol Festival musical roaming in the Hautes Alpes

The Pantheon, temple of the heroes and heroines of France, retraces in an unprecedented way the history of heroes against slavery. To illustrate these fights for freedom, the exhibition presents painted portraits of these heroes, prints and very rare archives, but also everyday objects. The “Dare to Freedom” exhibition thus offers a richly documented retrospective that highlights those who dared to stand up against the trade in human beings.
