Now a suspected shooter has been arrested – in Barcelona, according to information given to Aftonbladet.
Three people were injured, one of them seriously, when shots rang out in the residential area of Hovsjö in Södertälje on 9 December. All three shot are minor boys.
The shooting is connected to the gang milieu in Södertälje and Aftonbladet has previously reported that one of those shot is connected to the so-called Salt Forest Phalanx.
The youngster has previously figured as a suspect in a murder investigation from earlier this year.
Now a man who is suspected of being the shooter has been arrested, according to Aftonbladet’s information. The man was arrested in the days before Christmas in Barcelona after being detained in his absence in Sweden.
The suspicions against the man are attempted murder, according to Aftonbladet’s information. Among other things, there must be technical evidence linking him to the shooting.
Flee the country by car
Another man was arrested in Barcelona together with the suspected shooter. According to the police’s suspicions, he should have helped the suspected shooter to flee Sweden a few days before the arrest, according to information given to Aftonbladet.
The men are said to have traveled through Europe together by car until the police “caught up” with them at a hotel in Barcelona.
Both men are linked to the gang environment in Södertälje.
