The whole carnage left its mark not only on Wick, but also on star Keanu Reeves. A producer quotes him in the Collider interview as saying “I can’t do this again. […] I want to be killed for good at the end of this movie.”

If you haven’t seen the film yet, you’ll have to find out for yourself whether the makers met Reeves’ wishes for his character. As far as producers are concerned, the John Wick franchise definitely has a future.
