Sarnia police are again asking for help continuing the search for three missing men.

“As many families gather over the holiday season, these families continue to be impacted by not knowing where their loved ones are and they continue to search for answers on their disappearances,” police said in a news release.

“In a renewed request for public assistance, the SPS (Sarnia Police Service) is again sharing their photos in the hopes that someone who knows something will come forward.”

Dustin Ireson, 34, was last seen Nov. 13, 2022, police said.

Ireson’s vehicle, a black Dodge Ram pickup, was last seen in the area of ​​Harbor Road in Sarnia.

Ireson is described as 5’7″, with long, brown hair. He’s also missing a tooth on the right side of his mouth, police said.

Trevor Chaput, 35, was reported missing July 6, 2022.

Chaput is described as 5’6″, with a thin build and weighing approximately 160 pounds, police said.

Brad Ogilvie’s family reported the 41-year-old missing Nov. 22, 2023, police said. Ogilvie is described as 5’9″, 160 pounds, with a medium build and brown hair.

All are active and separate investigations, police said.

Police in August 2022 conducted a three-hour grid search in Aamjiwnaang First Nation for Chaput, and an OPP dive team and helicopter helped search a section of the St. Clair River last December for Ireson and another missing man, whose body was later found.

“The impact of missing persons can be life-changing for families, friends and communities,” Sarnia police said in the release, adding police are committed to addressing every missing person report sensitively and in a timely manner.

“If you believe someone in Sarnia is missing, please call the Sarnia Police Service immediately. Your report will be taken seriously, and the investigation will start without delay.”
