A man has been cut with a knife at a hotel in Arninge in Täby north of Stockholm. The man is taken to hospital in an ambulance with serious injuries.
– There is a fight inside a hotel room between two men in their 50s, says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
The injured man was awake and the police have spoken to him. The other is arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. What the fight was about is unclear.
– But we judge that the plaintiff, he who has been taken to hospital, should also be investigated for certain crimes, says Österling.
Another person has been brought in for questioning but is not a suspect. The site is cordoned off for technical examination.
– Our forensics technicians must secure traces and we must of course have serious interrogations with the parties involved.
