Leo Carlsson makes his first season in the NHL.
But the 18-year-old continues to deliver.

Leo Carlson is one of Sweden’s greatest hockey talents. He already attracted attention in the SHL when he played for Örebro as a 16-year-old, and he continues to impress now that he plays in the NHL for the Anaheim Ducks.
Carlsson’s successes
When Leo Carlsson debuted at the age of 16, he became one of the youngest ever to play in the SHL. After being brought up in Färjestad, he went to Örebro where Carlsson was invested. The season after his debut, he was named Junior of the Year as a 17-year-old.

Before the current season, Leo Carlsson was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks. Already in the first round as the second player overall, he was drafted, just Mats Sundin and Rasmus Dahlin has been drafted higher. Carlsson joined the club immediately and has been in and out of the Ducks’ squad this season.
The big tribute
The plan for Leo is namely not to play him every game, so as not to burn out the 18-year-old. In the night’s game against the Detroit Red Wings, however, he was allowed to play. And impressed greatly, having accounted for an assist.

Carlsson has now scored 15 points in his first 22 games in the NHL. The center forms a chain with Alex Killorn and Troy Terrywho was pleased with his co-stars’ delivery.
– Our chain does a lot of good things. We are a strong trio. Killorn is so smart and protects the puck so well. And Leo can do just about everything, he is so skilled at picking up the puck in the lane at high speed, says Terry according to Expressen.
The match ended 4–3 to Anaheim, who took their second straight victory.
