(Finance) – The new edition of the solidarity and awareness campaign kicks off today Unicredit “1 vote, 200,000 concrete aids”, dedicated to Third Sector Organizations that are committed to well-being of the communities in which they operate.
UniCredit will make available up to 200 thousand euros from the “Carta E” fund to the most voted among the over 1,000 Third Sector organizations present on IlMioDono.it, the fundraising platform created by the Bank to facilitate meetings between Non-Profit Organizations and everyone those who want to support this sector by offering concrete help.
All supporters – explains the note – “can express themselves through a voting and donating itheir support for those communities and territories that we serve on a daily basis as a Bank. UniCredit customers and non-customers will be able to access, from today until January 31, 2024, on the ilMioDono.it website, select your favorite organization and vote for it through an e-mail account or your Facebook and Twitter profiles and – if they wish – add a donation”.
The initiative is part of UniCredit’s broader “Carta E” project, born in 2005 and aimed at supporting social solidarity initiatives in the territories. The Bank waives part of the commissions on ethical card transactions to allocate them to the ethical fund.
The one starting today is the fifteenth edition of the solidarity campaign carried out by UniCredit. During the last edition, over 86,000 votes were collected in 58 days, with a daily average of over 1,500 votes and 175,000 euros of additional donations collected from over 8,000 supporters. The 200 thousand euros of this edition, added to the amounts of the previous ones and the voluntary contributions spontaneously made by those who supported the initiative with their votes and donations, bring the total sum distributed since 2010 to over 4 million euros, thanks to ‘initiative “1 vote, 200,000 concrete aids”, in favor of Third Sector OrganisationsAnd.
