The footage, which lasts approximately eight seconds, allegedly took place in the room where Supreme Court nominees were questioned by senators and former FBI Director James Comey testified about allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential elections.

While an investigation was launched after the video went into circulation, the reactions were swift. In his statement on X, Senator Ben Cardin announced that Czeropski, who allegedly filmed himself having sex in the US Senate Judiciary Committee hearing room, was dismissed.
