The core edition of the well-known Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, suitable for both Xbox and PC, offers the same features as the actual premium modelbut comes with fewer accessories included.
So if you can do without the adaptability of the analog sticks and D-pads or the rear paddles or already have them, you can do so here save compared to the significantly more expensive Elite standard model.
The cheaper Elite controller also comes with a USB-C cable and a tool to adjust the analog sticks.

In the test: The Gamesradar website put the controller to the test and gave it 4 out of 5 stars with the following conclusion.
Although I’m a little disappointed that there are no attachments here, and I would have appreciated some sort of back paddle or additional stick caps, I can’t fault the Elite Series 2 Core.
It feels like going to a posh Michelin star restaurant and being served something as simple as bread and butter. It is plain and simple and for the price you pay you would expect a more complicated dish. But it’s probably the best sandwich you’ll ever eat.
