Foreign Minister Tobias Billström (M) will participate in a foreign minister’s meeting in Oslo on Friday about Gaza. During the meeting, among other things, the humanitarian situation in Gaza will be discussed, and “renewed efforts for a negotiated two-state solution” are also planned, writes the Swedish government in a press release.
“Cooperation with the region is important to create the conditions for a peace process that can lead to a negotiated two-state solution, which is the only sustainable solution for peace,” says Tobias Billström in the press release.
Participating in the meeting are the Nordic foreign ministers as well as foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Turkey, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, as well as Palestinian representatives and the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation OIC.
